Message from the Dean

On Friday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m. Phil Maue, Coordinator of Organ Sales at Sides Music Company, will present a workshop on the subjects "Creative Hymn Playing" and "Using the MIDI" in the large recital room at Sides, 201 Mulberry St., Williamsport. The Susquehanna Chapter has been invited to join us for this event.

Sides will provide punch and coffee for refreshments. I would like to ask our members to provide a snack or cookies for us to enjoy together after Phil has given the program.

For those who were unable to attend the "Planning for Music Ministry" event in Lewisburg October 29: Shirley Smith and her Committee did a great job organizing the day's schedule of workshops during the morning and afternoon. Donna and Ken Elkin made outstanding contributions leading the opening worship and presenting a choral reading program. Donna may still have booklets from her presentation if you are interested.

It will be nice to see you (all) on the 19th at Sides Music for our meeting.

Happy Thanksgiving!
