Message from the Dean

Welcome to the website of the State College Chapter, which draws its membership from throughout central Pennsylvania. We offer educational and artistic programs throughout the year. National dues collection began April 1, 2008.

AGO Dues Rates 2008-2009

VOTING MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES (full benefits):
Regular $88
Special (65 and over, under 21, or disabled) $64
Full-time student $36
Partner (2nd member at same address, no TAO) $64
Dual (paid to second chapter) $35
Student dual $14

INDEPENDENT MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES:
Effective January 2002, the AGO began accepting Independent members. Independent members do not belong to a chapter or receive chapter benefits. Chapters do not collect or report dues for Independent members; please contact National directly. Regional Councillors will apprise chapters of contact information for all local Independent members.

Special Independent Member $64

NON VOTING MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES:
Chapter Friend dues are set and retained in full by the local chapter. Chapter Friends do not receive The American Organist (TAO) and are not eligible for any other national membership benefits.

Residing in the U.S. 1 yr. $56 / 2 yr. $106 / 3 yr. $152

(Subscribing memberships are handled directly from National; chapters are not involved in processing subscribing memberships.)

GUILD CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION DATES (2007)

Service Playing Test
October 1, 2007 through April 30, 2008

Colleague Examination
November 16, 2007; May 9, 2008; November 14, 2008

Choir Master Examination
May 28, 2008 (morning and afternoon)

Associateship Examination
May 29 and 30, 2008 (paperwork section both mornings; organ playing one of the afternoons)

Fellowship Examination
May 29 and 30, 2008 (paperwork section both mornings; organ playing one of the afternoons)
