| Welcome to the Redwood Empire Chapter of the
American Guild of Organists (AGO) in California! Need an organist? Your local AGO chapter is the right resource for finding an organist, either substitute or permanent. Call or e-mail our Dean or Webmaster (below) and we will publicize your open position for an organist and provide your information to all of our members. (Fees for organ playing service are negotiable with each organist.) The Redwood Empire Chapter of the AGO invites organists, choral directors, music students, and organ enthusiasts who live or work north of the Golden Gate to join our chapter. The Redwood Empire Chapter includes the California counties of Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino and Lake. If you are already an AGO member, we invite you to dual membership. Our chapter will sponsor and present periodic organ and choral recitals throughout the year. See the following entry below. Dean: Douglas L. | Program for 2010-2011, Redwood Empire American Guild of Organists
2010: Mini Organ Recitals each 2nd Friday, 6 p.m. ending Friday, May 13, 2011. Church of the Incarnation in Santa Rosa. Harold Julander is the program director. This series is scheduled to resume in September 2010. September 10, 2010, David Link, Organist/Director, Episcopal Cathedral, Sacramento October 8, 2010, Beth Zucchino, Music of Schumann November 12, 2010, David Rothe, Past Professor at Cal State, Chico More to follow as plans are consumated ***** Tuesday, October 26, 2010, Hallowe'en Organ Program, First United Methodist Church, Santa Rosa. This will follow the weekly church supper to which all are invited. ***** Regional Convention Region IX AGO 2011 in San Francisco, July 3 - 7, 2011. |
