Local Events

Opening Event: Dinner out, and attendance at a concert given by Chanticleer! Sunday evening, September 30th
Dinner at 5:30 +/-, place TBA
Concert at 8:00 pm
St. Anthony Catholic Church, Missoula
Tickets available at griztix.com, or by purchasing at the Adams Center, UM campus, or by calling 243-4051. $30 for adults, $20 for students.

Other concerts to consider attending:
September 28 - 7:30 pm, UM Music Recital Hall, Kimberly Gratland James, faculty recital. Jen Cavanaugh, oboe; Nancy Cooper, chamber organ. Includes J.S.Bach arias for mezzo, oboe obliggato, and continuo (chamber organ/keyboard).

October 11 - 7:30 pm, UM Music Recital Hall, Clint Whittle, senior recital. Includes Fantasie in F-minor by Krebs for oboe and organ. Barbara Simon, organ.

October 17 - Dedicatory Recital for new/renovated organ in Bozeman. Christopher Houlihan, organist. More information will be forthcoming!

October 26 - 7:30 pm, UM Music Recital Hall, Fern Glass Boyd, faculty recital. Includes X by Albinoni for cello and organ. Nancy Cooper, organ.

2013 Convention Update:
Most of you are thinking summer is nearly over. I see it as fast approaching! Mark your calendar now, to attend the Region VIII AGO Convention in Salem. We will be on Willamette University Campus June 23-26, 2013.
Our web-site will soon reflect more details and we appreciate your patience. Some of our artists include Dr. Jeannine & David Jordan sharing “Bach & Sons” , Michael Kleinschmidt of Trinity Episcopal, Dr. Paul Klemme director of Willamette Master Chorus, Dr. Bruce Neswick -Truckenbrod Concert Artist, Heidi Kohne, Debra Huddleston & Halcyom Trio Ensemble, Dr. Walter Krueger, and Halden Toy. Dr. Bruce Neswick is guest speaker at the Gala Luncheon honoring David Dahl. This will be the last Regional as we’ve known it to be, following the proposed redistricting.
