September 17, 2012: Presentation by Mary Ann Buhler about her trip to Italy and the Czech Republic; Ruth Ann Warren’s home. October 28, 2012: Faculty Emeritus Recital, Dr. Mary Ellen Sutton, All Faiths Chapel, Kansas State University; private reception afterward provided by AGO November 12, 2012: Presentation—“Works for Organ and Other Instruments,” by Dan Myers December: No meeting January 21, 2013: Joint Members’ Recital with the Manhattan Area Music Teachers Association; All Faiths Chapel, Kansas State University Wednesday, January 23: Organ Music for a Wednesday Morning, David Pickering and students, 11:30 AM, All Faiths Chapel. Sunday, February 10, 4:00 PM: Second Annual Concert of Sacred Music, 1st Presbyterian Church, Junction City. February 18, 2013, 7:00 PM: Presentation on the history of the Community of Christ Auditorium Organ (Independence, MO), built by the Aeolian-Skinner organ company in 1959, by Mary Ellen Sutton & David Pickering. Held at Mary Ellen's home. March 2013: No meeting due to Easter Sunday, March 10, 4:30 PM: Stephen Kucera's student recital. All Faiths Chapel. Sunday, April 7, 3:00 PM: Rededication Concert of the organ at College Avenue United Methodist Church, 1609 College Ave. Mary Ann Buhler, soloist April 15, 2013: Progressive dinner/recital at three different churches Wednesday, April 17, 7:30 PM: Dr. David Pickering Faculty Recital, All Faiths Chapel May 13, 2013: End-of-the-year social and picnic, venue TBA |
