Message from the Dean

Hello, Dayton AGO Friends!

Our next meeting is titled "Get with the Program! Musicians in Today's Church" on Monday, March 1, 2010, 7:00. It will feature chapter member Prof. Trudy Faber of Wittenberg University.

The meeting is at Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church,
7505 Taylorsville Road, Huber Heights.
It is open to all interested persons.

Prof. Faber offers practical ideas, including organ selections, from a recent conference she attended at Yale. She brings a fresh perspective to this topic. There will be a time of discussion followed by questions and answers. A reception will follow.

We also understand that Trudy Faber, who for many years has been a loyal member of Dayton Chapter AGO, will retire from Wittenberg at the end of this academic year. This program will thus be a special time to benefit from her expertise and greet her afterwards.

Directions: Sulphur Grove UMC is a short distance eastward off Brandt Pike, SR 201, and just south of I-70. Plenty of parking. The church is handicap-accessible.

If you have questions, please contact Priscilla Acuff at 937-296-1430. It will a GREAT evening. I look forward to seeing you at Monday evening!

Kevin A. Rose, Dayton AGO Dean,
