Message from the Dean

Hello to Everyone and welcome to our website!

If you missed the dedication of Pat and Robert Newton's new Letourneau organ in January you missed a most wonderful treat. Over 50 members and guests attended the gala event. There was delicious food, drink and hors d'oeuvres and delightful company. After an introduction by organ builder Fernand Letourneau, we were treated to a short concert: Gary Wortley, flute; Rick McKnight, organ; Pat Newton, organ; Adleyn Scott, organ and Janice Sigmund, piano (duet); and Debbie Anderson, soprano; Joseph Golden, organ improvisation.

Thanks to Rick McKnight (our sub-dean for programs) we are having outstanding programs and have several more events scheduled for the rest of the chapter year.

We continue to work on our chapter goal of increasing and diversifying our membership by encouraging other local organists and choir directors who may be potential members. Please be thinking of creative and original ideas to accomplish this. We want everyone involved and will be asking for your help in reaching out to others. Your input is encouraged.

Adleyn Scott, Dean
