If you are interested in joining the Muskegon-Lakeshore Chapter, please contact Caron Farmer(caronfarmer@novagate.com) or Nancy Gibson (gibson3113@juno.com) for a Membership Form.

Listed below are the membership categories and dues schedule for those interested in joining.

REGULAR - $80.00

A Regular Voting Member is an organist, choral director, or any other individual who supports the purpose of AGO. Voting membership includes participation in all Chapter and Guild activities, eligibility to serve as an officer in the Chapter, the right to vote in Chapter and Guild elections, eligibility to undertake Guild certification examinations and includes a one-year subscription (12 issues) to THE AMERICAN ORGANIST magazine.


SPECIAL - $57.00

A Special Member is a Regular Voting Member over the age of 65, under the age of 21, or disabled. This membership carries all the rights and privileges of the Regular Voting Membership.


STUDENT - $30.00

A Student Member is a Regular Voting Member who is currently enrolled for study in a high school, college, university, or conservatory. This membership carries all the rights and privileges of the Regular Voting Membership. Individuals must submit a photocopy of their student ID with the membership form.


PARTNER - First Member: $80.00; Second Member: $56.00

A Partner Membership is available for the second of two Regular Members residing at the same address. Each Member is eligible for all the rights and privileges of a Regular Voting Member, but the two members receive only one copy of THE AMERICAN ORGANIST magazine.


DUAL REGULAR - $30.00

A Dual Member is a Regular Voting Member who (1) has established primary membership in another chapter, (2) is approved for dual membership by the chapter, and (3) has paid the dues set by the National Council. A Dual Member is eligible to hold office and vote in both the primary and secondary chapters, but has only one vote in regional and national elections.


CHAPTER FRIEND - $30.00

A Chapter Friend is a Non-Voting Member who is not an organist or choral director. Chapter Friends are those who support the work of the local chapter. They receive the Chapter Newsletter and may participate in chapter events. Chapter Friends are not eligible to hold office and do not have voting privileges or benefits. This category of membership does not include a subscription to THE AMERICAN ORGANIST magazine.
